This is so true for me. Anger doesn’t do anything positive for me, it leaves me feeling tired and worn out. Not happy and engaged. 

The solution is peace in the heart, mind, thoughts, actions and words. Be peaceful in everything you think and do. Visualize peaceful outcomes and resolutions to all things.

Start from a place of love and understanding rather than confrontation and unrest.

Now this can feel much more difficult in the heat of the moment. I don’t always remember myself to slow down and wonder why am I feeling angry? Sometimes this feeling can jump up on me and take over my thoughts for a moment.

Fortunately I have God on my side. God steps in and whispers in my ear ‘hey, Omaste. Is this really how you want to be right now?’ This is really helpful when I feel overwhelmed because I get the support I need in the moment.

And then there are times when I just need to be in a quiet place to get my center back.

Taking a long walk next to the river is one of my favorite things to do and I will always find peace there.
